Cancun has at least 15 golf courses so golfers will be pleased.
Several courses have interesting terrain and designs resembling cenotes, tropical jungles, mangroves, lagoons, sand dunes, and even Mayan ruins.
Pok Ta Pok is a favorite course. There are 18 holes at this course, a driving range, two practice putting greens, roving bars, and a driving range in the heart of the Hotel Zone.
Downtown Cancun is a great place to shop
Beaches, bars, and watersports are not all that Cancun offers. Visit the city’s downtown, where locals hang out and where you can escape the resorts and glitzy Hotel Zone.
Mercado 28 or the Malecon Americas Shopping Center offers a variety of shopping. Thus, you can opt for the Cancun day tours to Tulum or you can simply sit in the park and experience Mexican life, eat at one of the tasty taco stands or local restaurants, or witness a less touristy nightlife at night.
