To light aerialists, we typically use 3 strobes or speedlights. Key light, a backlight, and another light to add depth (often 1 or more gels used).

Aerial Silks uses two lengths of fabric, secured from the ceiling, and involves defying gravity and using your strength to climb and manoeuver. Under careful instruction, you’ll learn how to wrap the silks around your body to reach cool poses that will really improve your flexibility.
This is also a beautiful art form to photograph!
