To light aerialists, we typically use three strobes or speedlights. Key light, a backlight, and another light to add depth (often, one or more gels are used).
How to Photograph and Light Aerialists
Here are some of my favorite images from this shoot.
Aerial Silks uses two lengths of fabric secured from the ceiling and involves defying gravity and using your strength to climb and maneuver. Then, under careful instruction, you’ll learn how to wrap the silks around your body to reach cool poses that will improve your flexibility.
This is also a beautiful art form to photograph!
If you need a photographer in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or Cancun, please give us a WhatsApp at +1 (713) 578 0080 or an email. We would love to earn your business!
