How to Prepare for a Photoshoot?
Learn your poses and best angles -when it comes down to the day of your shoot, it’s so important that you’ve practiced your poses in front of a mirror so you feel strong and confident.
Get a good night’s sleep – obviously, you want to ve feeling your best.
Plan head – get the perfect outfit. Make sure it fits well and you have no wrinkles in your clothes.
Screenshot interesting outfits on Instagram to your phone for outfits and posing ideas.
Determine the lighting or mood you want the photographs to portray.
Everyone gets nervous in front of the camera, when the weather’s nice my clients much prefer outdoor shoots because your energy changes as you move around and get used to the camera.
Try to skip or have just a couple of drinks of alcohol the night before the shoot as that will disturb your sleep and it could make your eyes look tired for your Tulum photoshoot.
Keep your eye out for beautiful locations and ask your photographer where he recommends you shoot for the style of photos you are going after.
What kind of clothes should you pack for your photoshoot?
That really depends on the mood and style of the photoshoot you are going for. Obviously, you should be dressed for the appropriate season if it is an outdoor shoot.
But if you are doing portraits or indoor photoshoot you have a lot more freedom to wear what you want.
Ask your photographer what he recommends for you to wear or bring as props?
Bring at least 4-8 outfits.
